The Lenovo Thinkpad X100e has gain a lot of attention very quickly since it was officially announced. The X100e is mostly a netbook if you look at it’s internal specifications, but from it’s design it looks more like a small business laptop. Lenovo are referring to the X100e as an “entry ultraportable” rather than a netbook.
Rather than using the common Atom CPU the Lenovo X100e uses the AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 processor, which offers improved performance, and brings it into the CULV realm.

The market has already become flooded with the latest generation netbooks featuring the new Intel Atom N450 1.6Ghz CPU. But we have yet to see any netbooks making use thew the faster Intel N470 CPU which runs at a faster clock speed of 1.88GHz, until now!

We have been hearing about the new Intel Pineview platform for some time now, and the most recent nugget of news we heard was that Intel are now fast tracking the platform.
This appears to be true, as a new Pineview powered netbook has been spotted over at the FCC. The Lenovo S10-3 netbook or Lenovo FL5-B3 as it’s currently known has been revealed by the FFC documents as featuring the new Pineview Intel Atom N450 processor.

The 11.6-inch Lenovo IdeaPad U150 has been unboxed and given first impressions.
He has been using the Lenovo U150 as a replacement for his desktop for a few days, and overall seems to be very impressed by the sleek looking 11.6-inch netbook. There was no noticeable slowness during everyday tasks compared to his desktop.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U150 has been spotted a number of times before, and is currently available to purchase in Japan, but until today the rest of the world was left out cold.

Lenovo have updated their S10 netbook with a new revision, called the Lenovo S10-2. Not the most inspired name, but at least it’s clear that it’s basically a new model of the S10.
The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 features a new design with white, black, grey and pink color options, and is also lighter by 0.2kg over the S10, and also 4mm slimmer.
