Lenovo ThinkPad X131eLenovo have just announced the ThinkPad X131e 11.6-inch laptop which has been especially designed for students and education in mind.
The latest model comes with the choice of the Intel Celeron 877 / Core i3-2367M processors with Intel HD Graphics, or the AMD E-300 and E2-1800 APUs with AMD Radeon™ graphics.
The professionally looking and super rugged laptop has been designed with kids in mind and has an extra tough exterior and hard drive protection. Even the AC adapter has been specially strengthened for frequent plugging in and out.
Although not yet officially announced, Lenovo have released a promo video for the Lenovo Ideapad S110, their latest 10.1-inch laptop.
It’s interesting to note that they are calling it the “Lenovo S110 mini notebook”, rather than using the “netbook” term. We feel that Lenovo might want to move away from the netbook name as many people associate them with slow machines, where as the new S110 mini-notebook makes use of the new faster and efficient Intel Atom 2600 processor on the Cedar Trail platform.
Just a few short days ago Lenovo’s latest line of upcoming products were leaked. This leak included the Lenovo ThinkPad X130e which we will be covering here, and the X1 Hybrid, and an $800 Ultrabook the HP Folio.
Today we have found out some more information on the Lenovo X130e thanks to a product page found on Taiwan’s PCHome website.
The Lenovo X130e builds on the success of the X120 and delivers a tough laptop with rough-and-tumble keyboard, strengthened hinges and toughened corners.
The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet, which runs Google Android 3.1 Honeycomb is now available for pre-order directly from Lenovo, with prices starting from $499.
The ThinkPad Tablet is similar to their IdeaPad but is aimed more at business users, and brings with it a number of enterprise features.

Lenovo have just announced the Lenovo IdeaPad S100 netbook. The Lenovo S100 is their fourth generation netbook and it builds on the previous S10-3 model.
Like the previous models the Lenovo S100 has a 10.1-inch display, and doesn’t differ a whole lot from their previous models, but is the first Lenovo netbook to support dual core processors.
The Lenovo IdeaPad U160 is a new ultra portable 11.6-inch notebook, which was announced at CeBIT a few months back.
While there are now quite a few options in the 11.6-inch netbook / notebook market, most are still CULV (consumer ultra low voltage) powered, and while faster than an average netbook, still far less powerful than a full sized notebook.

Two new Lenovo Ideapad S10-3 netbooks have just shown up for order at Amazon featuring the latest generation Atom N455 processor with DDR3 support.
We have of course seen the Lenovo S10-3 before, but these two new models make use of the faster DDR3 supporting hardware.
Both of these 10.1-inch netbooks have the same design and hardware, but come with either a 160GB hard drive, or a 250GB hard drive for an extra $30.
The Lenovo U160 is the latest 11.6-inch Ideapad notebook from Lenovo, it is the new model of the Lenovo U150 which was released last year.
The Lenovo Ideapad U160 is a “thin and light” notebook, which come is larger than a netbook, and provides more power, but still aims to keep the weight and size down. The U160 is very slim, with its dimensions measuring 290 x 22.5 x 190 mm. It is also light at just 2.76lb with the 6-cell battery, or 3.09lbs with the larger 6-cell battery.
Lenovo have officially announced the IdeaPad S10-3s netbook. The Lenovo S10-3s, as the name might suggest builds on the S10-3, with a newer, slimmer design.
The new Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s has an updated design with more rounded corners, and a lower weight of just 2.4 pounds. The previous model measured 1-inch. and Lenovo are claiming the S10-3s measures just 0.6-inches, but this is at it’s thinest part, and increased to 0.9-inches at its thickest.
