Lenovo are apparently extending their netbook range to feature a larger 12-inch model, called the Lenovo IdeaPad S20. We assume it will be similar to their popular S9 and S10 models.
It’s currently far from official at the moment but DigiTimes suspect the 12-inch Lenovo S20 netbook will make use of the new Intel Atom N280 CPU and more powerful GN40 chipset for enhanced media and graphics performance.
On the rather large side for the term “netbook”, although this line seems to be getting pushed to the larger side every month. The only other details currently known are that it will feature Windows XP and cost roughly $586.
Hopeful the Lenovo IdeaPad S20 will come about, if you’re looking for a great 12-inch netbook, be sure to take a look at the Dell Mini 12.
