Lenovo have finally announced their latest thin and light laptop, the Lenovo U150 to the rest of the world, and have released pricing and release information.
The Lenovo IdeaPad U150 has been spotted a number of times before, and is currently available to purchase in Japan, but until today the rest of the world was left out cold.
While not technically a netbook the U150 is well and truly in the netbook size category at 11.6-inches. The thin and light notebook features a 11.6-inch LCD with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics and up to a massive 8GB of RAM.
The IdeaPad U150 will have a starting price of $585 in the US, and will be available mid way through November.

Lenovo say that the U150 will feature an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, but the exact model is unknown. The version currently floating around Japan comes with 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a multi-touch pad, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1.
It features a 6-cell 57WHr battery, which is quoted to run for 7 hours running the included Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
The Lenovo U150 weighs just 3.3 pounds, and measures 0.5 – 1.35 inches thick. It’s also interesting to note that there are two RAM slots, and a free PCI express slot.
