Lenovo have now begun to ship the Lenovo S9 netbook. The Lenovo Ideapad S9 is a smaller version of the already available and popular Lenovo S10 netbook, but with a smaller screen.
You should now be able to find the 8.9-inch Lenovo S9 netbook online for around $360. The 2.4 lbs netbook comes with the popular Intel Atom N270 CPU running at 1.6GHz, 512MB DDR2 Ram, GMA 950 graphics, and a 4GB SSD hard drive.

The 8.9-inch LCD is LED backlit, and has a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, while the Lenovo Ideapad S9 runs Linpus Linux Lite operating system.
You will also find 802.11b/g WiFi, bluetooth, Ethernet, 2x USB 2.0, 0.3 mega pixel webcam, ExpressCard slot, VGA output, and a 4-in-1 media card reader.
The Lenovo S9 is basically a smaller, version of the Lenovo S10 (review), which as a 10.2-inch display, larger 80GB HDD and runs Windows XP Home. If you’re looking for something a little smaller / lighter, and don’t need massive of space, the Lenovo S9 should suit you well.
