Lenovo have officially announced the IdeaPad S10-3s netbook. The Lenovo S10-3s, as the name might suggest builds on the S10-3, with a newer, slimmer design.
The new Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s has an updated design with more rounded corners, and a lower weight of just 2.4 pounds. The previous model measured 1-inch. and Lenovo are claiming the S10-3s measures just 0.6-inches, but this is at it’s thinest part, and increased to 0.9-inches at its thickest.
While the core specifications remain the same as the S10-3, the new model adds a number of configuration options to the game. The basic model comes with the Intel Atom N450 / N470 processor, and a 10.1-inch display for $379.
Lenovo S10-3s
You can upgrade the standard 1024 x 600 pixel display to 1280 x 720 resolution, add upto 2GB of RAM, a 160GB / 250GB / 320GB hard drive or a 16 / 32GB SSD.
A 3G modem and Bluetooth are optional. It is available with a 3-cell or 7-cell battery.
A white model will be available at launch, but a black model and “Spring Flower” design will be available later.
