Lenovo X100eThere has been a lot of speculation about the upcoming Lenovo ThinkPad X100e for a few weeks now, but now a lot more details have become available.

The Lenovo want the X100e to be refereed to as an “entry ultraportable” and not as a netbook. While is a has netbook like size of 11.6-inches and a “netbook-like price point” it’s internal hardware are less netbook like.

The Lenovo X100e ultraportable / thin and light notebook has an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 pixel LCD, with an AMD Athlon Neo NV40 processor, support for upto 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive. There is also optional GPS and 3G.

The Lenovo has a typical ThinkPad keyboard style with a multitouch trackpad and trackpoint. It should be available worldwide shortly, but no price or release date information are currently known.

It will be available with a choice of operation systems, including Windows 7 Home Premium. While the Lenovo X110e might be aimed more towards business users than most, it is still available in a number of colors; black, red or white.
