For some strange reason the popular and highly rated LG X110 has been available in Europe since September last year and has also been spotted floating around Canada, but has never been available in the US.
Even though it’s not been made official by LG just yet, we are hearing that the LG X110 will be heading to US soil very soon indeed. The President of Mobile communications has reported that the X110 will be available some time before July 09 for roughly $400.
We’re not sure why they delayed the launch in the US, as it has been selling very well around the rest of the world. Also strange is the fact that LG just recently announced the X120 model, which builds on the yet unreleased X110.
The LG X110 it’s self uses the MSI Wind base and features a 8.9-inch (1024 x 600) LCD LED backlit display, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, the Intel Atom N2 1.6GHz CPU and a 120GB /160 GB HDD or 6GB SSD.
Running Windowx XP and featuring 3x USB 2.0, with a 4-in-1 Card Reader, 3Cell / 6cell battery, 1.3 megapixel webcam, along with optional 3G and GPS.
