It looks to be the same netbook, with a few tweaks, that we saw leaked at the end of last year, when it was known as the LG X30.
The LG X300 looks very stylish and very thin at just 17.6mm thick. It has an 11.6-inch screen (which in my favorite size for a netbook), with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, chiclet keyboard, and borderless touchpad with tactile feedback.
It’s powered by the 2.0GHz Intel Atom Z500 processor, and features an SSD (size unknown), Intel GMA 500 graphics, 2GB of RAM and is apparently fanless. The silent SDD and fanless design, makes the LG X300 100% silent.
Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G modem, 1.3MP webcam, SRS TruSurround HD sound and SmartOn quick booting OS. It comes with 2x s-cell batteries giving 3.5 hours of run time per battery.
We now have a hands on video of the LG X300, taken at CES by the Netbooknews team, show below!
The LG X300 weighs 970g, and will be available world wide next month!
No price has been given, but we feel that if LG price it right, it could be a very popular netbook indeed. Via Engadget
