MSI Wind Box DE200 / DC200MSI have just officially announced two new “Wind Box” netbooks, the MSI Wind Box DE200, and the Wind Box DC200.

We first saw the MSI DE200 back in early march at CeBIT, and since then it’s design and specifications have changed slightly.

Both are powered by the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N230 processor, but the higher end MSI DE200 features ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics, giving it plenty of power to decode 1080p HD videos. This nettop is directly competing against those which feature the Nvidia Ion graphics.

Even though these new netops have only just been officially announced they are already available to pre-order from Amazon at very temping prices.

The MSI Windbox DE200 is available from Amazon for $299, and the Wind Box DC200 for $249.

Both models are the same, with the exception of the graphics, the DC200 features Intel GMA 950 graphics, where as the DE200 features the more powerful ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics (with HDMI output). Both have 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 2x USB 2.0, Ethernet, SPDIF audio output, 6-in-1 card reader.

It’s also nice to see 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Gigabit Ethernet, which are both great for streaming media.

Both the MSI Wind Box DC200 and DE200 can be mounted to the back of your HDTV / LCD monitor, and are very small measuring just 283mm x 178mm x 40.4mm, and are also very energy efficient, typically using just 30 watts, and are very quiet.
