At the start of the year at CES, a whole bunch of new netbooks were announced, and since then many of them have appeared online almost instantaneously.
MSI on the other hand have been a little slower at getting their latest Atom N450 models out. The MSI Wind U135 has been available pre-order for a little while now, but until now we haven’t seen the Wind U160 show its face.
The 10.1-inch Intel Atom N450 packing MSI Wind U160 is now available to order.
It’s available to order at $380, and available in Black (MSI Wind U160-006US), and Brown (MSI Wind U160-007US) color options.
Specification wise the MSI U160 is very similar to many of the other recent netbooks. It has a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 pixel CD, a 250GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, 802.11b/g/n/ WiFi, Bluetooth, and runs Windows 7 Starter.
It’s light at only 2.4 lbs, and has a very stylish design with a flush battery. The 6-cell battery should last a very long 15 hours, the longest I have seen.
