The MSI Wind U100 is one of the most popular netbooks on the market, and recently MSI announced that they were going to expand the Wind range with the Wind U110, U150 and U120 models.
Now they have just announced a new netbook, the MSI U300. Although the U300 will not be part of the Wind range, but maintains the “U” in the model name, referring to “Ultraportable”. The MSI Wind U300 will have a 13.3-inch LCD screen and will be announced officially at CES in January 2009.
The MSI U300 is apparently “Very, very slim and light” and has a”surprising” aluminum design and price, (lets hope it’s a pleasant surprise on the price!). It will not cost $2,000 like a typical ultraportable. It will most likely use a Atom Z530 CPU, and MSI say they want it to last 6-7 hours on a single charge.
Expect to hear and see more on the MSI U300 in January, we are sure looking forward to it!
