MSI have just announced the MSI VR220 YA Edition ultra portable laptop / netbook. Although the MSI VR220 YA might not strictly be a netbook at 12-inches, it might be a little on the big side, but if it’s good enough for Dell to called the Dell Mini 12 a netbook, it’s good enough for us.
The MSI VW220 YA Edition netbook will be available in four colors; blue, pink, green and black. Featuring a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution, dual core Pentium CPU and GMA 4500M graphics. A large 250GB HDD, upto 2GB of DDR2 RAM, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, gitabit Ethernet, TV Tuner (Optional) Bluetooth, 3-in-1 card reader, VGA output and 3x USB 2.0 ports.
There is also a SuperMulti DVD drive, 1.3-meagpixel webcam, and a large 8-cell battery to keep things going. The great looking MSI VR220 YA Edition notebooks will go for a decent price of $699.
