MSI have had great success with the MSI Wind netbook, and now we have some details of their upcoming MSI Wind U120 Netbook, which is also known as the MSI Wind 2.
The Wind U120 looks similar to the previous Wind, but a little more edgy and professional, we assume they are targeting the growing business market. The MSI Wind U120 will feature a 120GB HDD or 20/40GB SSD at a later date, a 10″ LCD screen, and powered by the Intel Atom CPU. Most key features are the same as the previous Wind, with a few extra connectivity features.

The MSI Wind 2 will have 802.11n WiFi and also a built in 3.5G WWAN modem with SIM card support. This added 3.5G support will make the MSI Wind U120 more attractive to commuters and travelers as you will be able to access the Internet at broadband speeds were ever you are, with out the need for a hot spot zone.
Expect to see the MSI Wind U120 / Wind 2 for less than $599 in December, just in time for Christmas!
Update: The MSI Wind U120 Review has now been posted to the site.

I have this netbook and it is really nice. I know it’s not a fancy super loaded w/features machine, but I knew that when I bought it. I have a Sony VAIO and it’s nice but actually I prefer this one. I recommend a USB plug-in mouse and a good link for program installs. In short overall this little machine will make any teenager or novice adult happy. surfing the internet and performing simple program tasks. It’s a great netbook for travelin people and business salespeople. The price is very fair I paid $279.00 on Ebay – new out of the box.
