An Apple Netbook has been rumored for some time now, with Apple claiming to refuse to give the netbook market any attention.
Recently China Times is reporting that a 9.7-inch touchscreen netbook will debut in October this year. They are claiming that Dynapack, and Wintek have received orders from Apple, with Foxconn being the main manufacture.
It’s not clear whether that Apple “Netbook” (Apple iPad?) will be of a classic netbook form, or take a table form, or maybe even be a converting netbook / tablet, similar to the Asus T91, and T101H.

Apple said they have been anti-netbook, but thats exactly what Sony said a few months back, only to then release their first official netbook, the Sony Viao W.
Apple probably won’t want to call this product a “netbook” as reports are saying it will cost about $800, which would price it out of the netbook market anyway.
It will be interesting to see how this develops. Via ChinaTimes (Translated).
Update: Apple have officially announced their iPad tablet PC.
