There have been many rumors flying around the Internet about the possibility of an Apple Netbook, or an Apple touchscreen netbook to be exact.
These rumors have recently gained a little more credibility and information after Dow Jones Newswire reported that two people close to the situation confirm the rumor.
Reports are saying that the touch-screen display will be provided by Wintek, and that the netbook will be manufactured by Quanta (the world’s largest notebook manufacture). Also that it we should expect to see the Apple Netbook in the second half of this year.
The only other information said to be known is that the touchscreen display will measure between 9.7 and 10-inches.

Please note, the above image is currently a mock up image.
Personally, I completely expect Apple to enter into the netbook market, they will be following the long list of other computer manufacturers to do the very same. I also expect it to be priced higher than most netbooks and probably more along the line of Sony’s Vaio P netbook.
