We have just heard that Intel are soon going to launch two new Pineview-D processors mid June, bringing faster clock speeds, DDR3 support, and keeping to power consumption low.
The new Intel Atom D425 / D525 are the updated version of the currently available D410 / D510 processors.
The single core Atom D425 1.66Ghz has the same 1.66Ghz clock speed, but the dual core Intel Atom D525 is expected to run at a faster 1.8Ghz, we hope to have this confirmed soon.
What is great to hear though is the fact that the Atom D525 will enjoy faster clock speeds, while keeping the power consumption the same, at 13W TDP.
Just like the recently announced Intel Atom N455 & N475, the D425 and D525 will additionally support faster, DDR3 RAM.
