The Gigabyte Booktop M1305 was shown off over six months ago now, but as it’s getting closer to it’s highly anticipated release, some interesting extra features have been discovered.
The Gigabyte M1305 features a special dock which features the powerful Nvidia GeForce GT220 graphics, giving it plenty more power to power external displays, rather than the M1305′s less powerful internal GMA 4500MHD graphics. This external graphics is similar in approach to the Acer DynaVivid Graphics Dock, which can be used with the Acer Ferrari netbook. But with the dock, you get the added benefit of extra USB ports and more.

Without the dock, the Gigabyte M1305 is no slouch, with an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 320GB / 500GB HDD, GMA 4500MHD graphics, 1.3 MP webcam, 802.11n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 6-cell battery. Ships with Windows 7 Home Premium.
The Gigabyte Booktop M1305 also features a removable optical drive, which can be hot swapped with an additional battery, giving it even longer battery life.
