Just yesterday Intel officially announced the availability of their new dual core Intel Atom N550 processor.
In the press announcement they also said that a dozen netbooks powered by the new Atom N500 processor are already available to purchase.
Well, as of right now, that isn’t exactly true, as there certainly isn’t a dozen right now. But we do know of a number of upcoming netbooks which are powered by the dual core N550 processor.
Below are the current Intel Atom N550 netbooks. Unfortunately as of right now, none are available, but we expect them to be available very soon.
We will keep this list up to date.
- Acer Aspire One D255 (Confirmed)
- Asus Eee PC 1015N / 1015PN (Confirmed)
- Asus Eee PC 1015PEM (Confirmed)
- Gigabyte T1005M (Netvertible)
- HP Mini 210 (Option)
- HP Mini 5103 (Option)
- Lenovo S10-3 (new model)
- Packard Bell Dot SE
The Intel Atom N550 has two cores at 1.5Ghz, DDR3 support, and is said to have similar power consumption to the N450. You can also see the N550 benchmark results.
Update: Be sure to view our netbook comparison database which now features many of the new N550 powered netbooks.
Comment below if you know of another other N550 netbooks we might have missed.

You mis-spelled the model number of the Asus Eee PC it’s supposed to be the 1015PEM (M like Mary) not 1015PEN (not N like Nancy).

The Asus 1015PN is out now. Confirmed to have the N550 and the nicer ION2 graphics chip.
