One of the biggest, if not the biggest developments in the netbook industry, has been the Nvidia Ion platform / chipset. So far we have seen the first Ion powered Nettop, the Acer AspireRevo, but no netbooks as of yet.
Many people are holding out for an Ion powered netbook, as it provides significant performance boosts in the graphics department, providing 1080p HD playback / decoding and HDMI output.
The first Nvidia Ion powered netbooks are to be announced by “key” players at this years Computex in early July.
We will keep you upto date on the first Nvidia Ion netbooks as they announced. Hopefully we will see the first available within a couple of months. via PocketLint.
