The big name battery brand, Duracell, are getting into the netbook market in some way by launching their universal netbook adapter.
The Duracell universal netbook charger is said to work with all popular netbooks from Acer, Asus, Dell HP / Compaq, Lenovo and even more.
The 40-watt power adapter comes with four power tip which can be easily changed to fit these netbooks. It automatically switches from 12v – 19v depending on the netbooks needs. It is also eco friendly, sipping just 0.5w of power when not in use. It weighs 9 ounces.
I see the the universal adapter being ideal as a replacement adapter if you have lost or broken your original adapter. As the Duracell adapter can be used with any netbook, you don’t have to worry about finding the exact model from your netbook manufacturer, which will probably also be at a higher price.
The Duracell universal netbook adapter can be pre-ordered from Amazon for $45.
