ViewSonic have just announced a couple of netbooks and nettops. The netbook side of things are covered by the ViewSonic VNB100 and VNB101 netbooks.
At first glance the ViewSonic VNB101 looks very much like the Asus Eee PC S101, but I’m sure ViewSonic would disagree with me.
The VNB101 looks nice and slim and has an attractive looking design, and a 10.2-inch LCD backlit LCD with a 1024×600 pixel resolution.
While the majority of the specifications are similar to many other netbooks on the market, such as the Intel Atom 1.66GHz Atom N280 CPU, 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive, the ViewSonic VNB101 does have something a little extra to offer.

While most netbooks normally have a Li-Ion battery, the ViewSonic VNB101 features a 3400mAh Lithium-Polymer battery, which should last for a good five hours, but are lighter and take up a smaller area. So there is no bulge or extra thick body.
Li-Ion
The ViewSonic netbook will be available in Champagne, red, and black color options. The converted price comes to about $485. Via Netbook News with video.
