ViewSonic have just announced their view first Windows 7 Netbook, the ViewSonic VNB102.
While the ViewSonic VOT132 nettop has been on the market for sometime running Windows 7, this is the first netbook to be sporting Microsoft’s latest operating system.
Bumping the model number up just a single digit from the VNB101, the new ViewSonic VNB102 will be available to purchase from December 18th for roughly $399.
The VBN102 has similar specifications to most netbooks currently on the market, with a 10-inch display with a 1024×600 resolution, a 16GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive.
Ports include VGA output, Ethernet, 3x USB 2.0, a multi-card-reader, audio in and out. It comes with a 6-cell battery which should last up to 6 hours.
They call the ViewSonic VNB102 thin and light, and “right sized, I guess they like the 10-inch screen size! As far as I can tell the NVB102 is only going to be available in black.
