Just last month ViewSonic announced their VNB102 netbook, which has a great sleek new design. Less than a month later they are showing off their latest 10-inch netbook at CES, the ViewSonic VNB105.

Like all the new netbooks announced over the last few weeks the VNB105 features the latest Intel Atom N450 1.6GHz CPU which uses less power than the previous generation Atom.

I very much like the design of the new ViewSonic VNB105, it has a stylish and professional design with a mat finish. I prefer this look over the fingerprint magnet glossy design which mostly dominate the market right now.

ViewSonic say that the VNB105 ViewBook netbook features a “floating keyboard” which provides a smooth and ergonomic feel, and which prevents dirt and dust from getting into the keyboard base. From looking at the photos, it looks like a chicklet style keyboard, which are normally preferred over the standard type.

Other features include 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and 3x USB 2.0 ports. It comes with Windows 7 Starter Edition, and a 6-cell battery which should last up to 8 hours.

The ViewSonic ViewBook VNB105 should be available from March for $399, which sounds like a good price for a latest generation netbook with a great design.
