The Packard Bell Butterfly Touch is an 11.6-inch touchscreen convertible tablet notebook.

If you take a close look at the design and specifications of the Packard Bell Butterfly Touch, you will notice it is very similar to the Acer Aspire 1820PTZ. This is because it is essentially the 1820PTZ re-branded to Packard Bell. This isn’t too unexpected as Packard Bell are owned by Acer.

Packard Bell Dot M/U

Packard Bell Dot M/UPackard Bell have added a new netbook to their “Dot” range of netbooks.

The new Packard Bell Dot M/U has an interesting name, I don’t think I have ever seen a model name with the forward slash in it. Anyhow, before we get too far, I would like to point out that the Packard Bell Dot M/U is in fact a re-brand of the popular Acer Aspire 1410 (Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T).

Acer now own Packard Bell, so it’s not too surprising to find that the new Packard Bell netbooks are in fact re-branded Acer netbooks. Both the new netbooks will be headed to the European market.

Packard Bell Dot

Packard Bell have now officially launched the “Dot” Netbook in the UK.  The Packard Bell Dot is a nice compact unit with a 8.9-inch LCD screen.  Similar the the Acer Aspire One the Dot has the typical Intel Atom N270 (1.6GHz) CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB HDD.
