Packard Bell have updated their Dot range of netbooks with the addition of the Packard Bell DOT M, and DOT S netbooks.
Acer now own Packard Bell, so it’s not too surprising to find that the new Packard Bell netbooks are in fact re-branded Acer netbooks. Both the new netbooks will be headed to the European market.
The 10.1-inch Packard Bell Dot S netbook is based on the Acer Aspire One D250, while the larger, 11.6-inch (1366×768) Packard Bell Dot M uses the new 11.6-inch Acer Aspire One as it’s base.
On the inside, the specifications of the new Packard Bell Dot’s are pretty much identical to that of their Acer relatives, but there have been a number of external aesthetic changes. This includes a nice looking textured palm rest, a modified lip and a few silver highlights on the trackpads.
