Packard Bell

If you take a close look at the Packard Bell iMax Mini, you might think that it looks very much like the Acer Aspire Revo nettop. Well, if you did, you be correct, the new Packard Bell iMax Mini is basically a Packard Bell branded re-badge of the Aspire Revo.

The details are a bit scarce right now, but as expected the iMax Mini nettop has the same specifications. Featuring an Intel N230 CPU, with the Nivdia Ion chipset / graphics, 2GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive.

The Ion graphics are more than capable of playing back Full HD / 1080p videos, and outputting them to an HDTV via the HDMI or VGA outputs. There are plenty of USB 2.0 ports with six to go around.

The small unit PC, which uses very little power can be mounted to the back of your LCD monitor or HDTV. It will most probably ship with a game pad, or controller of some sort.

The Packard Bell iMax Mini is expected to start at £249.
