asus 900axThere have been many new Asus Eee PCs discovered over the last few days and the Asus Eee PC 900AX is one of the strangest yet.

The Asus Eee PC 900AX has both shown up at the FCC and also appeared in an official Asus spreadsheet revealing its existence.

From the model name, the Asus 900AX seems to be an new model from the Eee PC 900 range. This would indicate that it is an 8.9-inch netbook.

Asus 1201 & 1201XVery rarely these days does a manufacturer get the chance to officially announce and uncover a new product. They are normally beaten to the chance by documents available via the FCC, their own support pages, or even else where hidden on their official sites.

In this case of the Asus Eee PC 1201X and 1201K these product names have been dug up from one of Asus’ own webstorage site.

The US TSA (Transportation Security Administration) have announced (in a blog post..), that Netbooks and Tablet devices, such as the iPad do not have to be removed from your bag or case when you go through the airport x-ray scanner.

Lenovo S10-3sLenovo have officially announced the IdeaPad S10-3s netbook. The Lenovo S10-3s, as the name might suggest builds on the S10-3, with a newer, slimmer design.

The new Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s has an updated design with more rounded corners, and a lower weight of just 2.4 pounds. The previous model measured 1-inch. and Lenovo are claiming the S10-3s measures just 0.6-inches, but this is at it’s thinest part, and increased to 0.9-inches at its thickest.

MSI Wind L1350, L1300, L2300 Available

MSI L1350Four new MSI Wind netbooks have shown up on MSI’s official website, although these new netbooks have all new model names, the netbooks appear to be small updates to existing models.

The new netbooks consist of the MSI Wind L1300, L1350, and L2300. All seem to be very similar to existing models which are currently available, so it’s not exactly clear why MSI have gone with the new model names.

Asus Eee PC 1001PXAsus have announced their latest Eee PC netbook, the Asus Eee PC 1001PX to the market.

While we’re a big fan of Asus’ seashell design netbooks, we do hate the all over gloss than many feature, which quickly turn into fingerprint magnets, which clearly don’t look quiet as nice.

We were pleased to see the latest version of the 1005PE announced, the 100PE-PU27 which has a non gloss, soft touch lid. Asus have now taken this even further with the Asus Eee PC 1001PX, which has a non gloss carbon fiber-like finish and matte screen.
