asus 1015pdWe have known that the Asus Eee PC 1015PD has been coming our way for a while now, since it first appeared on a number of official Asus web pages.

But the Asus Eee PC 1015PD has now been made official by Asus. They have posted up a product page for the 1015PD, along with a number of photos and its specifications.

As expected, it is a 10-inch netbook, which is powered by either the new Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz processor, or the Intel Atom N475 1.83GHz processor.

Asus EB1501PYou might remember that towards the end of last year Asus announced the EeeBox EB1501. This EeeBox created quite a bit of attention as it was the worlds first nettop which could be mounted to the back of your LCD monitor or HDTV which features a built in DVD burner.

Now the latest version of the EB1501 is the Asus EeeBox EB1501P, and it looks like it should be coming our way very soon. It recently appeared (and then vanished) from the official Asus website, so it looks like the are prepping for a release.

Samsung X125Samsung have announced the Samsung X125 11.6-inch notebook, the latest, third generation model in their X series range.

So far it has only been announced in Europe and is already up for pre-order in the UK for £449, with a release date of August 7th.

The Samsung X125 is based on the latest AMD Nile hardware and is powered by the “thin and light” AMD Athlon II Neo K125 1.7GHz processor.

Dell Inspiron M101zDell have just announced and launched the Dell Inspiron M101z 11.16-inch netbook.

The Dell M101z has gone straight from being unknown, to being up for purchase in the UK. The M101z is Dell’s second generation 11-inch netbook, which builds on the Dell Inspiron 11z.

It’s powered by AMD’s new Athlon II Neo processors, and you can select from either the Athlon II Neo K125 single core processor, or the dual core K325.

It has been available to pre-order along with the 1018P for a little while now, but as of very recently it is now shipping out from Amazon!

As of the time this was written, third-party selling Electronica Direct are currently shipping the Asus Eee PC 1016P for $531.29.

Acer Aspire One 532hThe Acer Aspire One 532h was announced at the start of the year and has been available for a number of months now.

It is currently one of Acer’s best selling netbooks on the market today, and after spending some time with it, it is easy to see why it is so popular.

The 10.1-inch netbook is available in a number of colors (blue, silver and red), is very thin and light and is also very well priced.

The Acer 532h is powered by the now common Intel Atom N450 1.6GHz processor, while this processor doesn’t offer any performance boots compared to the previous generation, it does use less power, resulting in longer run times and cooler operation.

It is so new, it isn’t even available just yet, but that didn’t stop one website getting their hands on one for a review.

The 12-inch Asus 1215N is one of the most powerful netbooks coming our way. It features a dual core Intel Atom D525 processor (1.8GHz) along with the next generation Nvidia Ion 2 graphics. This combination gives it plenty of processing power and better multitasking support, and graphical power for HD playback and even some gaming.

HP Slate 500Since HP got its hands on Palm we have been expecting to hear WebOS news from now on, but this is certainly not the case.

In the recent past there has been a lot of talk about an 8.9-inch HP Slate. Well today the “HP Slate 500″ has been discovered on a small page on HP.com.

It’s very interesting to note that the listed HP Slate 500 tablet PC runs Windows 7 Home Premium, along with “exclusive” HP software, rather than WebOS.

MSI U230 Light | 11.6-Inch

MSI Wind U230 LightThe “Light” edition of the U230 has an 11.6-inch matte display with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, while the standard (non Light) version has a 12.1-inch display.

Where as Samsung are appending “Plus” and “Plus Premium” to indicated better product specifications, MSI have added “Light” to indicate a different model entirely.

Samsung N230 Hands On

Samsung N230The Samsung N230 is the latest 10.1-inch netbook from Samsung.

When it was first announced its specifications didn’t look all that different than the previous N210 / N220 models currently available. But after we saw the first press shots of the Samsung N230, it gained a lot of peoples attention.

While the specifications are similar, it has a great looking thin design, with brushed metal palm rest, chrome hinges, and a great boarderless chiclet style keyboard.
