Acer Aspire 3951The Acer Aspire 3951 Ultrabook has been leaked by the means of a hands on from HDBlog (Now removed).

The Acer 3951 is the first ultrabook from Acer, and is expected to be available in a few months for around $799. The 13.3-inch thin and light laptop slots itself into the new “Ultrabook” category which Intel announced back in May this year.

With either a 128GB SSD, or a 250GB / 500GB hard drive the Acer Aspire 3951 ultrabook covers all areas.

The Asus Slider tablet is available for pre-order from just $479 for the 16GB version.

The slider was announced at the beginning of the year along with the very popular (and best selling) Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet, which is available with an optional keyboard accessory which also contains a touchpad, extra battery and ports, essentially turning it into a Android powered laptop. The Asus Eee Pad Slider on the other hand is the very first tablet on the market which contains a built in keyboard, which is accessed by, you guessed it, sliding the tablet.

MSI X370-205USMSI have just released an updated version of their X370 13.4-inch laptop. This new version called the MSI X370-206US / MSI X370-205US is the first laptop in the U.S to feature the new 1.65GHz dual core E-450 Fusion APU.

This new APU / CPU only adds an increase of just 0.05Ghz to the CPU’s clock speeds over the older E-350 chip. But the new E-450 APU does add a new Turbo feature for on the fly optimization of the CPU core speeds and the Radeon HD 6320 GPU core.

Lenovo Thinkpad TabletThe Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet, which runs Google Android 3.1 Honeycomb is now available for pre-order directly from Lenovo, with prices starting from $499.

The ThinkPad Tablet is similar to their IdeaPad but is aimed more at business users, and brings with it a number of enterprise features.

While a quick glance at the ThinkPad’s specifications makes it look a lot like most other Honeycomb tablets on the market, it does have a number of features that sets it apart from the crowd.

Samsung nc-215sSamsung have announced a world’s first with the Samsung NC215S netbook. It’s the first and only solar netbook.

The Samsung NC-215S is essentially the Samsung NP-NC110 with a solar panel integrated into the lid of the netbook. The solar powered netbook was initially announced for release in Africa and Russia, but has recently been given the green light for release in the US. Our Samsung contact tells us that the netbook should be available mid or late August.

Asus Eee PC x101The Asus X101 MeeGo netbook was introduced in May, and will be the cheapest 10-inch Eee PC / netbook to hit the market at just $199.

To be able to sell the X101 MeeGo at such a low price, but keep the quality high, Asus has tweaked the specifications of the netbook. They have fitted it with the Intel Atom 1.33Ghz low power consumption processor, a lower capacity 3 cell battery, and given it an 8GB solid state drive, rather than a larger standard hard drive.
