It has been rumored for sometime now that Dell would release an 11.6-inch netbook / CULV-based ultra-thin model, to join the other manufacturers, and also to replace their now no longer available Inspiron 12 netbook.

Well it seems that Gizmodo have captured some photos of an the upcoming Dell Inspiron 11z netbook.

Disney teamed up with Asus to create the kid friendly Disney Netpal netbook. Which we believed may have lead Dell to team up with Nickelodeon, and created the Dell Mini Nickelodeon Edition netbook.

The Dell Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon edition netbook appears to be based on the Dell Mini 10v, but has aimed at kids and will come in three different design.

We have seen the Samsung N510 netbook show up for pre-order from a number of European websites, but so far the UK and US has yet to see or hear anything about it’s release, and also price.

A reliable source has said that the S11.6-inch Ion powered Samsung N510 netbook will be available to purchase in the UK and also the US during the first week of September.

It’s been a number of months since the kid friendly Disney Netpal netbook was announced by Asus and Disney.

Good news for any of you who have been waiting to get your hands on it, either for your kids, or maybe even yourself!

There has been a lot of buss around the upcoming Samsung N510 netbook which was leaked a number of weeks ago. The Samsung N510 was rumored to be the first Nvidia Ion powered netbook from Samsung, featuring a 11.6-inch high resolution display with HDMI output.

It has now been revealed that the N510 isn’t the only Ion powered netbook from Samsung. The Samsung NP-N508, and Samsung NP-N511 have been listed along side the Samsung NP-N510.

Some of the Asus netbooks which have been on the market for some time, such as the Asus 1000H and S101 never used to feature chiclet keyboards, as there were release before the new chiclet style became popular.

Just a one day after Samsung’s new 11.6-inch N510 netbook became available to order, the highly anticipated 11.6 inch Asus 1101HA has now shown up at some online stores both in the U.S and the UK.

The Asus 1101HA is larger than most Eee PC netbooks and is the largest to feature Asus’ popular Seashell design.

Like many others I have had my eye on the Nvidia Ion powered Samsung N510 netbook with HDMI output since photos of it were first leaked to the Internet.

The 11.6-inch Samsung N510 has shown up for pre-order from the French store Pixmania for €499.

We are still waiting to hear more about the new Nvidia Ion 2. But in the mean time Nvidia have just announced their new Ion LE chipset.

The Nvidia Ion 2 chipset / graphics have been specifically designed for netbooks and nettops, and is identical to the original ION, except it only supports DirectX 9, as opposed to DirectX 10.
