gateway lt2000Gateway recently announced their first netbook, the LT3100, which was AMD powered. Today, they have announced the Gateway LT2000 netbook, which is makes use of the more common Intel Atom processor.

The Gateway LT2000 has the same external design as the LT3100, but features the popular Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz CPU, along with a 10.1-inch LED backlit LCD with a 1024 x 600 resolution.

Apple’s 9.7-inch Netbook – $800

An Apple Netbook has been rumored for some time now, with Apple claiming to refuse to give the netbook market any attention.

Recently China Times is reporting that a 9.7-inch touchscreen netbook will debut in October this year. They are claiming that Dynapack, and Wintek have received orders from Apple, with Foxconn being the main manufacture.

Broadcom Crystal HD Demo
