The very impressive and highly reviewed MSI Wind has been reduced in price to a very attractive $350 at Bestbuy.

Only a short few days ago we wrote about the very impressive looking HP Mini 1000 netbook, and now HP under the Compaq name have announced the HP Compaq Mini 700 netbook, which looks equally as impressive.

Acer, the third largest PC manufacturer in the world, has just released their very first netbook – The Acer Aspire One.

The Aspire One is available in a few configurations, this review is of the most basic one, thus the cheapest and it features an Intel Atom 1.6GHz, 8GB SSD flash drive and 512MB RAM, which really isn’t much.

The new Samsung NC10 has been hailed as the best 10-inch netbook released so far, beating favorites such as the Eee PC 1000H and MSI Wind. Although the $499 NC10 has similar specs as its competitors, including 1GB of RAM, a 1.6-GHz Intel Atom processor and Windows XP, it’s the amazing 7-hour battery life and the spacious and well-positioned keyboard that puts in the top.

HP has already has some success in the Netbook market with the Mini Note 2133, and now they appear to be adding a second model to their lineup. The HP Mini 1000 was caught on HP’s website for a short while, revealing some specifications.

Asus is sure on top when it comes to offering their customers a choice. The new Asus Eee PC 1002HA has been announced and it seems like a good mix between the popular Eee PC 1000 series, and the stylish new S101.

The Toshiba NB100 is the very first Netbook from the laptop experts Toshiba.  Better known for making the full size machines, Toshiba like many others out there want a piece of the netbook pie.

Their first production netbook looks to be hitting the UK market first, very soon.  The Toshiba Satellite NB100 is a 8.9-inch machine, that weight less than 1kg.

A few weeks ago Asus announced that they will be releasing a duel core atom Eee PC, touchscreen Eee PC and also a new very cheap, sub $300 Eee PC.

Well, it seems that they have gone ahead with their sub $300 netbook, with the discovery of the Asus Eee PC 701SDX.

We have been hearing rumors of Dell releasing two more netbooks after the Dell Mini 9, to add further pressure to the ever increasing Asus Eee PC market. The forthcoming Dell E (8.9-inch) and Dell E Slim (12.1-inch) netbooks had a few details leaked a few months back, but not much since.

MSI have had great success with the MSI Wind netbook, and now we have some details of their upcoming MSI Wind U120 Netbook, which is also known as the MSI Wind 2.

The Wind U120 looks similar to the previous Wind, but a little more edgy and professional, we assume they are targeting the growing business market.
