We have been hearing rumors of Dell releasing two more netbooks after the Dell Mini 9, to add further pressure to the ever increasing Asus Eee PC market. The forthcoming Dell E (8.9-inch) and Dell E Slim (12.1-inch) netbooks had a few details leaked a few months back, but not much since.

MSI have had great success with the MSI Wind netbook, and now we have some details of their upcoming MSI Wind U120 Netbook, which is also known as the MSI Wind 2.

The Wind U120 looks similar to the previous Wind, but a little more edgy and professional, we assume they are targeting the growing business market.

We have just received word from the German Eee PC news site that the Taiwanese Digitimes have confirmed reports that we will soon see a touchscreen Eee PC also dual core Atom Eee PCs.

The first Eee PCs and netbooks to be released featured an under-clocked (slowed down) Intel Celeron M 353 processor (CPU).  Recently Intel have created and released a CPU called the Intel Atom, which has been specifically designed for netbooks.

Netbooks have come a long way since the introduction of the first Asus Eee PC last year.  In the recent months we have seen some exciting netbooks to hit the market, especially the new Dell Mini 9.   Dell are experts at designing and producing laptops, and now they have joined the netbook game, with their first netbook, the Dell Inspiron Mini 9.

I believe that the brand new Asus Eee PC S101 is by far the best looking Eee PC to date, and probably the best looking netbook overall. Asus has constantly been improving their Eee PC range ever since feeling the pressure of it’s increasing competition. Most netbooks are built on the budget side, and often look slightly cheap, but the Eee PC S101, if definitely an exception, it looks everything as good as a highend full sized laptop.

The Eee PC 1000H from Asus is not only nice looking, it has really good performance specifications also. The 1000H comes with a large 10″ LED backlit LCD display, with a 1024×768 resolution making it easier to flick through documents etc.

Its keyboard is 92% (available on selected models) the size of generic laptops, making it more comfortable to use wherever you are.
