Wow that didn’t take very long! The very recently announced Samsung N210 and N220 10.1-inch netbooks are now available for purchase from Amazon UK just days after they were officially announced at this years CES.
There has been some confusion over how the Samsung N220 different from the N210, and to be honest I’m still not 100% sure, but it appears to just be to do with the color options. It was speculated that the N210 was heading towards the UK, and the N220 towards the US due to a slight keyboard difference as noticed by Brad over at Liliputing. But as both models have shown up in the UK this isn’t the case.
The internal hardware appears to be the same on both models, but the N220 does cost £10 more than the N210.
The Samsung N210 is available in two colors options, white and black. While the N220 currently only seems to be available in a green/black shade. Maybe this is the difference? (both keyboards are the same).
All models have a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 pixel LCD, and use the latest generation Intel Atom N450 1.6GHz processor, with 1GB of RAM, 250GB hard drive webcam, chicklet keyboard, and 802.11b/g/n WiFi. The 6-cell battery lasts upto 11.2 hours, while the netbook runs Windows 7 Starter Edition.
The Samsung N210 in both white and black are currently selling from just £279.99 at Amazon UK. £39 off!
Update: I have reviewed the Samsung N210, which is pretty much identical to the N220, and was very impressed with it. View the full Samsung N210 review.
The Samsung N220 in green/black or red/black costs £329.00, and is now available to order.
