samsung n310Samsung are quickly becoming one of the most popular netbook manufacturers after the success of the NC models.One of their newest models the Samsung N310 have a unique design created by Japanese artist Naoto Fukasawa, said to be inspired by a smooth pebble.

The external design and appearance makes the N310 standout for the sea of other netbooks on the market today. The slightly rubberized exterior surface offers a more durable surface than the normal plastic, and is available in four different colors.

The Samsung N310 is one of their most compact netbooks to-date, measuring just 10.3 x 7.3 x 1.1 inches, while boasting a large 10-inch LCD screen and large, high quality keyboard.

Internally the Samsung N310 has a 160GB HDD, 1GB of DDR2 Ram (upto 2GB), a 10.1-inch 1024×600 pixel LED backlit LCD, 802.11b/g WiFi, a 3-in-1 card reader and 3x USB 2.0 ports. LaptopMag reviewed the N310 and said the Samsung N310 is one of the more attractive and compact 10-inch netbooks on the market. Its compact build and peppy performance will provide the fashion-conscious a well-rounded package. Although for $10 less you can snatch up the Editor’s Choice-winning Samsung N110, which provides double the battery life, though in a less appealing chassis.

Update: Samsung have renamed the N310 to the Samsung Go.
