Samsung N510 & NC10The Samsung N510 is now available in parts of Europe, and is currently confirmed to be shipping in Germany and Italy.

Samsung has said that they will not be shipping the Samsung N510 in the U.S until the release of Windows 7 in two months time.

The models which are currently shipping in Europe feature the Intel Atom N270 CPU, and 5200mAh battery, where as the UK specific model (NP-N510-KA02UK) is stated to feature the Atom N280 and larger 5900mAh battery. This could be incorrect, but so far I have only seen the N510 show up at a number of UK stores, all without stock.

Okay, now on with the hands on of the Samsung N510! A reader of netbooknews.de has given the N510 a once over and taken a number of photos, and even compared it against the popular Samsung NC10 netbook.

Samsung N510 & NC10

As you can see from the photos, the N510 looks amazing, and gladly it has a mat (non-glossy) screen! While it looks a little big next to the 10-inch NC10, I’m sure it looks small next to a standard 15-inch laptop.  It has also been confirmed that the European version features the Ion LE chipset.

A great feature of the N510 is it’s very easy to access panels for upgrading both the RAM and hard drive!

The Samsung N510 is currently available to order in the UK from Amazon UK, but is currently still unavailable in the U.S, but till be available in late October when Windows 7 is released.

Below you can see a quick video showing HD both the N510 and NC10 playing a 720p HD video. Thanks to Joerg.

Update: The Samsung N510 review has been added to the site.

Update 2: It’s now available and shipping in the U.S for $599 from Newegg!, with Windows 7 Home Premium.
