We have seen the Samsung N510 netbook show up for pre-order from a number of European websites, but so far the UK and US has yet to see or hear anything about it’s release, and also price.
A reliable source has said that the S11.6-inch Ion powered Samsung N510 netbook will be available to purchase in the UK and also the US during the first week of September.
It has been given a recommended retail price of £449 and $599. With the current exchange rate it seems like the Americans get the better deal, but this is something we have come to expect.

The UK specifications have been confirmed for Samsung NP-N510-KA02UK model. From these specifications it appears that the Samsung N510 will feature the full Ion chipset, rather than the DirectX 9 only Ion LE.

We have seen other “confirmed” specifications for the U.S model. Which is similar but lists either N270 / N280 CPU, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 250GB HDD, and Windows Home Premium (with free upgrade path to Windows 7).
Update: I have seen the Samsung N510 show up on some UK sites for between £418.80 and £542, both without a shipping date.
Update 2: The N510 is now showing up on the Samsung UK website, with NP-N510-KA01UK model name. We’re not sure what the different between the NP-N510-KA01UK, and NP-N510-KA02UK is just yet. Maybe Ion LE / Ion?
