Over the last few days the Samsung N510 has gained a whole lot of attention.
The Samsung N510 is an Nvidia Ion powered netbook, featuring an 11.6-inch LED backlit LCD with a 1366 x 768 HD resolution.
The N510, which is also known by it’s full name of the Samsung NP-N510-KA02UK, is set to be the first such Ion netbook to make it’s way to Europe, apparently hitting the scene some time in July, for under €600.
It will feature the 1.66Ghz Intel Atom CPU, along side the powerful Ion chipset with the 1080p HD decoding 9400M GPU. This combination allows for full HD video playback, and even support for many of the latest games, something most netbooks can’t handle.
The Samsung N510 also features 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a high capacity 6-cell battery, WiFi (802.11b/g/n) Bluetooth, and a 3-in-1 card reader.
A few photos have leaked of the Samsung N510, where what looks like a HDMI output is featured (and VGA). If this is the case, the N510 is very appealing to me, with the 1080p support, and HDMI out, the N510 would be excellent for a HTPC connected to an HDTV.
The photo also shows that the Samsung N510 have a nice slim bezel around the LCD, and a large keyboard and trackpad. A very tempting netbook!
The N510 is now available to order in the U.S for $599 from Newegg!
