The Samsung NB30 Pro netbook is Samsung’s highend version of their original durable NB30 netbook.

It is currently available to order from Amazon for $519.

The original NB30 was announced along with the N210 and N230 as a tougher version of these netbooks aimed slightly more towards business users. The NB30 Pro model takes things even further and ups the specifications but featuring 2GB of RAM, rather than just 1GB, and comes with Windows 7 Professional installed, rather than the starter edition.

The rest of the specifications remain the same; with a 10.1-inch LCD, and powered by the Intel Atom N450 processor, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, spill resistant keyboard, and a 4400 mAh 6-cell battery providing 6.5 hours of run time.

As well as featuring a scratch-resistant, texturized finish (which is also fingerprint resistant), the Samsung NB30 Pro also features a free fall sensor on the hard drive. This protects the hard drive and your data from any drops or knocks your netbook might receive.

If you would rather just upgrade the RAM yourself, and are happy with Windows Starter edition, you can pick up the standard Samsung NB30 from Amazon for just $329.
