The new Samsung NC10 has been hailed as the best 10-inch netbook released so far, beating favorites such as the Eee PC 1000H and MSI Wind. Although the $499 NC10 has similar specs as its competitors, including 1GB of RAM, a 1.6-GHz Intel Atom processor and Windows XP, it’s the amazing 7-hour battery life and the spacious and well-positioned keyboard that puts in the top.

With a battery that lasts 7 hours, it means you can bring it with you to school or work and it should last you throughout the day. You can even use it on a long-haul flight.

The NC10 might not be the best looking netbook out there – It has a white matte lid but with its smooth, rounded square edges, it has a much more professional look than a lot of other netbooks. The NC10 measures 10.3 x 7.3 x 1.2 inches and weighs 2.8 pounds.
