Samsung N220 PlusSamsung have announced “Plus” versions of their latest generation of netbooks in the U.S.

We first saw this with the Samsung N150 Plus (Samsung N150-11), which gains a larger 250GB hard drive (rather than 160GB), along with a special sleep technology which reduces its power consumption when in standby mode, a fast boot software, and a bundled version of Microsoft Office Starter Edition 2010.

8. June 2010

Samsung NB30 ProThe Samsung NB30 Pro netbook is Samsung’s highend version of their original durable NB30 netbook.

It is currently available to order from Amazon for $519.

The original NB30 was announced along with the N210 and N230 as a tougher version of these netbooks aimed slightly more towards business users. The NB30 Pro model takes things even further and ups the specifications but featuring 2GB of RAM, rather than just 1GB, and comes with Windows 7 Professional installed, rather than the starter edition.

Samsung N230

28. May 2010

Samsung N230Samsung have just shown off their latest netbook, the Samsung N230.

Hardware wise, the 10.1-inch Samsung N230 is essentially the same as N210 or N220 that was released earlier this year. But they have given the netbook a fresh makeover on outside, blessing it with a brushed metal palm rest, chrome hinges, a new boarderless chiclet style keyboard, and new trackpad with individual buttons.

Samsung N210 Vs Asus 1005PE Comparison

15. March 2010

Asus 1005PE Vs Samsung N210The Asus Eee PC 1005PE and the Samsung N210 are two of the most popular netbooks on the market today.

In many ways they are very similar, they both have a 10.1-inch LCD with a 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive and are powered by the Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor.

I have reviewed both the Samsung N210 and the Asus Eee PC 1005PE separately, but as I had both at the same time I thought it would be useful to make a comparison of the two.

Samsung Go N315

8. March 2010

Samsung N315Samsung have a new addition to their Go range of netbooks with the brand new Samsung Go N315.

The Samsung N315 might be a new model name, but it appears that the N315 is an updated version of the Samsung Go / Go N310. It seems to have the same chassis and design, including the rubberized finish and much of the same hardware.

Samsung N210 Review

22. February 2010

Samsung N210The Samsung N210 is one of the latest 10.1-inch netbooks announced by Samsung at the start of this year. Like the majority of the new netbooks this year it uses the new Intel Atom N450 processor, which while it doesn’t offer any performance boosts, it has a lower power consumption, offering longer battery life.

The N210 model comes above the N150 / NB30 models, and features a longer 11.2 hours of run time. It is identical to the slightly more expensive N220 models, with the N220 models having a colored lid (Red / Black, or Green / Black), as opposed to a black / white only.

Samsung N150 Reviewed

17. February 2010

Samsung N150The Samsung N150 was announced along with a new other models at the start of the year for 2010. It’s the cheapest of the bunch, offering superb bang for buck. It’s other siblings are the semi rugged version of the N150, the NB30, and the N210 / N220 which are similar to the N150 but boast a higher capacity battery life.

I have been very impressed by Samsung’s latest bunch of netbooks and feel they have a great design and stylish look which is more business and professional than cheap and cheerful.

Samsung N150, NB30 High Res Photos

Samsung N150

Samsung N150

You may, or may not have noticed that there are very few photos of the newly announced (and available) Samsung N150 and NB30 netbooks around.

The only images of these netbooks that I have seen available are some shots taken at CES, which don’t do the new 10.1-inch netbooks justice. Even Amazon don’t seem to have any images available.

I have managed to obtain the official press photos for both models, where you can see both netbooks in all their glory.
