RIM BlackPad (Blackberry Tablet)There have been rumors floating around the Internet for quite some time regarding a tablet PC from the Blackberry company, RIM.

Recently it was revealed that RIM have snatched up the domain name blackpad.com giving reason to believe the device will be known as the Rim / Blackberry BlackPad.

Since then more solid rumors / information has been coming our way.

The BlackPad looks to have a 9.7-inch display with Bluetooth and WiFi. It is also said to have a 3G mobile broadband connection via Bluetooth and a Blackberry phone. This sounds like a very smart idea, as the tablet its self won’t need to feature 3G hardware, or its own tariff and contract costs.
