Toshiba

Toshiba NB205With a huge range of netbooks available, which seems to be expanding everyday, it’s very hard to narrow the selection down to just one.

The Toshiba NB205 sounds a lot like all the other netbooks when looking at the specifications list, but the new NB205 ranks above a whole lot of them.

The Toshiba NB205 breaks the mold of standard netbooks by offering a very high standard build quality along with a unique and attractive design. The keyboard and large touchpad are very comfortable and easy to use, something which most netbooks do poorly on.

Powered by the Intel Atom N280 1.6Ghz CPU, with a 160GB HDD and 1GB of DDR2 RAM (upgradeable to 2GB) the NB205 performs very well. The NB205 also features a 10.1-inch LED backlit LCD (1024 x 600), and runs Windows XP Home SP3.

Another great feature of the Toshiba NB205 is it’s large capachit battery, which last 8.5 hours. The Toshiba NB205 offers a lot for it’s asking price, from it’s high quality design, impressive keyboard and touchpad, to it’s impressive battery. LaptopMag gave the Toshiba Mini NB205 4.5 out of 5, and said, the NB205 has everything we’d recommend in a netbook: an attractive chassis, comfortable keyboard and touchpad, and more than eight hours of battery life for an affordable price. While the Samsung N110 and ASUS 1000HE continue to be good choices, Toshiba NB205 provides an all-around package.
