The Toshiba NB205 is Toshiba’s very latest 10.1-inch netbook. There is no doubt that the NB205 has a great design and looks great. There is a recent trends of better and better looking netbooks, but the Toshiba NB205 ranks very high up there.

Toshiba will offer the NB205 in two versions, the $399 higher end model, which features the latest Intel Atom N280 1.66Ghz CPU, with 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive running Windows XP Home. And the $349 lower-end model, which has a standard plastic keyboard, and will be available in black only.

The $399 model features a metal island style keyboard, and will be available in white, blue, pink, and brown.

The Toshiba NB205 also features a 3D accelerometer, which protects the 160GB hard drive, and comes with a 6-cell 5800 mAh battery, which should last a full 9 hours.

While the Toshiba NB205 has fairly similar specifications to many other netbooks, the NB205 seems to do things a whole lot better than most. The design, and impressive trackpad and keyboard, along with the large battery round off the NB205 very well.

I believe it’s a typo, but I am seeing reports of the netbook being called the Toshiba NB250-310.
