The Toshiba NB300 has yet to be officially announced, but has shown up at the FCC revealing it’s existence. At first glance the NB300 looks similar to the NB200 models, it does have a number of small but interesting differences. While they both have a 10.1-inch display, but NB300 features the Qualcomm Gobi2000 chipset, which provides it with broad coverage of 3G including EVDO, EGE, WCDMA/HSPA and CDMA200, along with GPS.
The Toshiba NB300 will no doubt be released in the first / second quarter of 2010, and as such may feature the new Intel PineView CPU.
It can also be noted that the new NB300 appears to have a wider /deeper battery, which may indicate that the battery is wider and therefore slimmer than in the NB200 netbook. This hopefully means that the Toshiba NB300 has a in-line fitter battery, rather than one which juts out of the back.
It looks like the NB300 will be an interesting netbook, and we will be sure to keep you up to date. Via Wirelessgoodness
